NSPS comments on HUD Multi-family Guidelines
NSPS has responded to a request for feedback on proposed changes in the HUD loan underwriting guidelines on multi-family projects. In its response, NSPS provided suggestions and volunteered to assist in resolving the numerous redundancies and problems related to the HUD Multi-family survey requirements. These include the use of a separate “Surveyors Report,” requiring an additional certification, and other requirements that cause confusion such as those related to wetlands and references to “as-built” surveys.
