Future of Surveying Task Force

NSPS has officially assumed the lead role for the Future of Surveying Task Force, an initiative begun through the support of NCEES.

An initial meeting was held in January 2016 with representatives from approximately 20 organizations which had been identified as key stake holders. A second meeting was held in June 2016 with 18 of the original 20 organizations sending a representative.

This webpage with provide updated information about the activities of the Task Force.

Our mission

NSPS strives to establish and further common interests, objectives, and political effort that would help bind the surveying profession into a unified body in the United States.

Governance: The National Society of Professional Surveyors Inc. is governed by a Board of Directors. The NSPS Board of Directors meets twice per year. NSPS has working agreements with state surveying organizations which are represented on the NSPS Board of Directors, and with the NSPS Foundation, Inc.
